I mentioned yesterday that Newflower Farmers Market is changing its name to Sunflower Farmers Market. I stopped by there today to pick up some produce (the 6 for $1 Texas grapefruit are delicious, by the way), and received a flyer about the name change celebration.

Mark your calendar to attend the official name change celebration that will be held on Saturday, January 15 from 1-4PM (the website says 11-2, but the flyer states 1-4).

The event will include:

– Delicious samples
– Live entertainment
– Chance to win free groceries and other great prizes
– Kids’ Face Painting, Balloon Artist & crafts

The store is located on Henderson west of Greenville. It looks like all Texas stores will have name change events on 1/15, so check your store’s event calendar if you live in Bee Cave or Austin.
