OfficeMax mailer

OfficeMax Max Perks Coupon

If you are a member of MaxPerks and get coupons mailed to you, be sure to look carefully at this week’s mailer. I received a $10 off $50 coupon card (like usual) and I was about to toss it in my coupon pile in case I needed it later.

Then I noticed on the back that there was a coupon for a free Scotch Pop-up Tape Desk Dispenser. I saw one of these (or something similar) at the Container Store during a gift wrapping demonstration and thought it would be nice to have, but I wasn’t planning to buy one. Now I can get one for free!

OfficeMax – Free after MaxPerks Rewards

OfficeMax Deals

You can buy some paper and office supplies this week (through Saturday, October 23) at OfficeMax and get 100% of your money back in the form of MaxPerks!

The MaxPerks Program is free to join.

MaxPerks can be redeemed for more merchandise at OfficeMax, so if you buy printer ink or other supplies regularly, or have plans to buy a large item in the near future (e.g. printer), this is a good way to get additional products for free.

If you have MaxPerks to redeem, you can “roll” them on these purchases. This means you can spend your already accumulated MaxPerks on these items and earn more MaxPerks!

Here are the items:

OfficeMax Multipurpose Paper – 10-ream case
$39.99 each – limit 3 (in-store and online)

Prismacolor Col-Erase Erasable Colored Pencils 12 pack, Carmine Red
$7.29 each – limit 6 (online only)

Mr. Sketch Scented Water Color Markers, 12-pack, assorted
$8.79 each – limit 6 (online only)

BIC Matic Grip Mechanical Pencils, 12-pack, Assorted
$6.99 each – limit 6 (online only)

Paper Mate Pink Ribbon FlexGrip Elite, 12-pack
$13.99 each – limit 6 (online only)

The bonus will appear on your next statement and expires after 90 days from date of issuance, except in Florida, where it expires one year from the date of issuance.

Be sure to use a cash back or points site for greater savings:

Ebates.com (3% + $5 sign-up bonus)
Cashbaq.com (1% + $5 sign-up bonus)
MrRebates.com (1% + $5 sign-up bonus)
ShopAtHome.com (4% + $5 sign-up bonus)
ShopDiscover (5%) – must use a Discover Card
MyPoints.com (2 points per dollar spent)

Also be sure to check if you have received any coupons from OfficeMax lately (I have some 15% off Web coupons somewhere as well as a 15% off coupon from last Sunday’s newspaper) and spend at least $50 to get free delivery.

Office Depot – Free after Worklife Rewards Items

Starting today through October 9, you can get several items, including Keurig K-Cups and Energizer AA or AAA batteries for free after Office Depot Worklife Rewards!

I love this deal because I always need printer ink so this is like buying the printer ink and getting coffee and batteries for free!

In addition to Keurig K-Cups and Energizer AA and AAA batteries, the promotion includes notepads, a 17 inch laptop case (looks like the one I have, which I love!), stackable file totes and 1 inch ring binders.

Check out everything here.

If you plan to do this deal, here are some things to think about before you get started:

– You must have an Office Depot Worklife Rewards number, which you can get for free. Sign up here. You will be assigned a number immediately.

– You may purchase up to two of the same item each day (e.g. 2 packages of AA batteries per day).

– You can get cash back or points (redeemable for gift cards) from any one of these sites:
* Ebates.com (2% + $5 sign-up bonus)
* Cashbaq.com (1% + $5 sign-up bonus)
* MrRebates.com (2% + $5 sign-up bonus)
*ShopAtHome.com (2% + $5 sign-up bonus).
* ShopDiscover (5%) – must use a Discover Card
* MyPoints.com (500 points for up to $99, 1000 points for $100-$199, etc.).

If you want cash back or points, be sure to go to the cash back or point site first, register or sign in, look for Office Depot, and click the link. On the Office Depot homepage, there is a rotating image in the center of the page. One the second screen of the rotation, you will see the link to the Free after Rewards page.

– If you order $50 or more, you will get free, next business day delivery.

– If you order $100 or more, use one of the $20 off coupons found at RetailMeNot.com.

– You must have earned a minimum of $10 in Rewards in order to receive the Office Depot Reward Card. This is paid quarterly. If you don’t reach the $10 minimum, rewards will carry over quarter to quarter within a calendar year.

– There is a limit of one Office Depot Worklife Rewards account per household or business.

I ordered eight boxes of Keurig k-cups and two packs of Energizer batteries for $84.88 after using a $20 off $100 coupon code on RetailMeNot.com. I also opted to use MyPoints.com to get the 500 points to get me closer to another $50 Macy’s gift card so I can buy the Vitamix. I will get my money back from my purchase in the form of a Rewards card that I will have 90 days to spend at Office Depot (likely on printer ink).

HammerMill CopyPlus Copy Paper – Moneymaker at Staples

I just noticed in Sunday’s SmartSource insert that there’s a $2.00/1 coupon for HammerMill CopyPlus Paper. It’s on sale for $0.50 this week at Staples (after EasyRebate), so this becomes a moneymaker with the insert coupon. There is a limit of two per household.

There’s also a $5.00/$50.00 coupon at the Staples Website that you can print to use at the store.

Luv a Bargain has a scenario where you can get several items at Staples for $1.54 after rebates and coupons. With the HammerMill coupon, it looks like you can get everything for free and some overage (after rebates).

I just got a Staples rebate card in the mail on Friday, so I plan to use that to pay for my purchases!

I have been working on client stuff and it’s late, so I haven’t carefully checked this deal. Please double check it before you head to Staples. If you notice anything I’m missing or you have a scenario you’d like to share, please let me know!

Staples – Duracell Battery Deal

What: Buy a 20-pack of Duracell Batteries, get 100% in Staples Rewards in January
When: From November 27 – December 26, 2009
Limit: 2
Requirement: You must be a member of Staples Rewards, but it’s free to join (learn more about the program).

I received my $40.40 Staples Rewards check a few weeks ago (from a backpack purchase before school started). I used it to purchase:

– Two 20 packs of Duracell AA batteries
– GE 4 device remote (Fri/Sat ‘free after rebate’ item in ad)
– Sharp Calculator (Fri/Sat ‘free after rebate’ item in ad)
– Targus 208-CD/DVD holder ($10)

I used an Office Depot $10 off $50 coupon (Staples takes competitor coupons) to get the CD/DVD holder for free.

I will receive a Staples Rewards check for the batteries ($25.98) to use on a future Staples purchase and $16.99 in rebates back.

If you go on Saturday, be sure to take the 10% off one item coupon that was in the newspaper (or you can print it here).

My Staples Trip – 7/19

Now’s the time to stock up on school and office supplies! Here’s what’s free at Staples this week:

Free Backpack (after Staples Rewards) – Staples Rewards members get 100% of the purchase price of one backpack back in Staples Rewards. Rewards will be mailed in October. It’s free to join and worth doing if you shop at Staples.

I really wanted to get my daughter a rolling backpack for next year, but didn’t see any in the backpacks section. I passed by the clearance area at the back of the store and they had the rolling backpacks there! $52.99 backpacks were marked down to $32.00.

I also purchased these free after rebate items (but left them at my parents’ house):

Zebra Sarasa Retractable Gel Pens, – medium, black (5-pack)
Pay: $4.99 (limit 1), Rebate: $4.99

Zebra Cadoozles .7 mm mechanical pencils (10-pack)
Pay: $2.99 (limit 1), Rebate $2.99

Staples Slim-line Pencil Sharpener
Pay: $10.99 after $5.99 instant rebate (limit 1), Rebate: $10.99

Pentel Handy Lines Retractable Assorted Highlighters (4-pack)
Pay: $4.99 (limit 1); Rebate: $4.99

I will submit all four items above to stapleeasyrebates.com to receive a rebate by mail for $23.96, and will look for my Staples Rewards in October for the backpack (and other) purchases.

Check out the full ad.

Staples Deal through 7/18

I stopped at Staples today to get two packages of Staples copy paper and two packages of Staples Photo Plus paper. I used the $5.00 off $20 or more coupon that was in last Sunday’s paper, which brought my total to $24.20 after tax.

I will submit the four items for the Staples Easy Rebates (which really are easy and can be done online so no additional postage costs) to get $25.34 in rebates, turning this purchase into a $1.14 money maker!

More free items at Staples

I was so excited to see the free Bic pens at Staples starting on Sunday, May 3, that I missed the other (even more fabulous) deals in the ad.

Deal #1 – Free Ghiradelli Luxe Chocolate Bag after Rebate (Price: $3.99 – Limit 1)

Deal #2 – Free Casio KL-60L Label maker after Rebate (Price: $19.99 – Limit 2!!)

If you’re planning an organization project, definitely pick up a label maker. I didn’t know if I’d use the one I purchased (at full price, before I started bargain shopping!), but I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it.

Thanks to Joyce for posting these!
