I have heard rumors for days that the Target toy sale started last week in some cities, but I checked a few stores in Dallas and toys were still marked at 30-50% off.

Then someone posted on a DFW coupon discussion group that her store had marked toys at 75% off today and the toys were going fast. That was followed by several posts from members saying their stores were still at 30-50%.

I have a feeling the markdowns will happen at most stores today (1/13). In the past, I noticed the employees start marking the new discounts between 9-10AM. So if you are looking for a good deal on toys, stop by by 10AM and see if there are many employees in the area. If so, you got there on the right day!
